My tattoo and why:

1. My Nana, she isn’t doing well and we were very close as I grew up. This is a touchy subject so I wont get into it.

2. The meaning - The owl is a symbol of hope in those murky, frightening times. No matter what blackness surrounds her, the owl sees her way through the gloom. An owl can look beyond the surface to see the real truth underneath mountains of fluff. Owls are spiritual mirrors, totems that force us to face the thing that we fear the most - our true selves reflecting in their enormous eyes. The owl is believed to be a symbol of intelligence and protection.

3. I love Harry Potter and I now have my own Hedwig.
